Cypriot XTB team plants trees in Vouni

10.12.2025

On Saturday 22nd November 2025, representatives of the Cypriot company XTB participated in a large-scale tree-planting campaign in Vouni – one of the towns most affected by the summer fire, which severely damaged the local ecosystem. The commitment of XTB employees underscores their determination to provide tangible support to the areas devastated by the fire and to accelerate the recovery of areas in urgent need of regeneration. This initiative reflects a responsible, long-term approach to environmental protection and concern for future generations in Cyprus.

The initiative was organized by a non-profit organization and has interested over 150 volunteers ready to work together to restore Cyprus’s natural landscape. Among the volunteers were 13 XTB employees, who felt the need to provide real support for the regeneration of the severely damaged areas. The newly planted trees will play a key role in restoring ecological balance and rebuilding biodiversity in the Cypriot region.

“Protecting the natural environment is a responsibility that rests with each of us. Cyprus continues to grapple with the growing effects of climate change, which have devastating consequences – both ecological and social. In the face of these challenges, decisive, long-term action is particularly important to protect natural resources and secure them for future generations.”

– emphasize XTB representatives.

Employees of the Cypriot company have announced their continued involvement in pro-environmental initiatives and active support for projects that contribute to building a more sustainable and climate-resilient future. They are the best proof that XTB’s ESG Strategy is driven by genuine action by conscious people who recognize the needs of others and want to help.

Participating in the Vouni reforestation campaign is another step in fulfilling this mission. It demonstrates the company’s consistent and long-term approach to environmental protection and solidarity with local communities affected by extreme weather events.
