We support initiatives related to sustainable development, in particular through programs that promote equal educational opportunities and activities that develop participants’ competencies (including “Academy of Tomorrow. Activities of the XTB Foundation
The Foundation’s interests and activities primarily focus on three main areas:
Financial education for youth
As a Foundation established by a leading financial institution in Poland, we support financial education for young people. The ability to manage finances and understand the basics of the financial market are important practical skills in everyday life.
In 2022, on behalf of the XTB Foundation, the study “Dreams and Plans of Young Poles” was conducted, which showed that Generation Z is interested in finance but lacks reliable sources of knowledge tailored to their age and life circumstances. In response, in 2024, during the Year of Economic Education, we launched projects aimed at introducing young people to the basics of finance and supporting the development of skills and habits related to money management.
Our projects:
Employee volunteering
At XTB, over 1 500 people from around the world work together in teams with diverse skills, interests, talents and educational backgrounds. As part of the Foundation’s social responsibility activities, we provide employees with opportunities to participate in social and environmental initiatives.
The employee volunteering program offers a variety of activities that employees can choose based on their interests. Each XTB employee can dedicate two days per year to support the organizations we collaborate with.
Supporting charitable activities
The XTB Foundation engages in charitable and social activities. On several occasions, we have supported selected individuals through the “Noble Gift” (“Szlachetna Paczka”) initiative and participated in auctions for the “Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy”. We have also provided financial assistance to people affected by the earthquake in Syria and to Ukrainian citizens impacted by the war. As part of our support for local communities, we helped equip children with school supplies and provided material aid to flood victims in southern and western Poland in September 2024.
