Great success of students at the International Economic Knowledge Olympiad

Just four days ago, the XTB Foundation signed a three-year cooperation agreement with the Polish Economic Society. Already, we can observe Polish team which returned from Athens with success at the International Economics Olympiad. Five of our students individually won five gold and silver medals, and in the team competition, they achieved the highest score among over 100,000 participants from around the world.

The Team members:

• Szymon Sobiech from Lublin,
• Patrycja Smentoch from Gdansk,
• Wiktor Kocur from Poznan,
• Szymon Jackowski z Warsaw and
• Jan Baranowski from Lodz.

achieved the best result in the history of Polish representatives at the competition. All team members are laureates of the National Economics Olympiad, organized annually by the Polish Economic Society.

The achievement received widespread coverage in national and regional media, including TVP1, Dzień Dobry TVN, and RMF FM.
