In October, XTB held an edition of “Security Month,” an initiative aimed at raising awareness of cybersecurity threats. The program included training sessions, presentations, and educational communications for employees, designed to strengthen security practices in everyday work.
This year’s edition was organized by XTB’s security team, with support from Security Champions—employees serving as security ambassadors within the company. This collaboration enabled the planning and execution of a variety of educational activities.
The initiative’s goal was to increase employees’ knowledge of cyber threats and to promote the adoption of security principles in daily organizational activities.
The activities included among others:
- threat simulation through the distribution of specially prepared USB flash drives,
- security riddles and puzzles to develop critical thinking,
- weekly cybersecurity quizzes,
- mandatory training to reinforce key fundamentals,
- live webinars with the opportunity to ask experts questions,
- visual materials and messages displayed in the office space,
- company-wide phishing simulation to test our vigilance.
