On Wednesday, May 20, 2025, willing employees from the XTB Headquarters gathered to take part in the "Clean River" campaign organized by the Clean River Foundation in cooperation with the XTB Foundation. As part of the operation, volunteers managed to clean the Narew bank and collect 1,500 kilograms of waste!
Traditionally, like every year, XTB x XTB Foundation joined forces to do something useful for the natural environment. In previous years, we planted and cleaned the forest, this year we decided to clean the Narew riverbank near Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. On Wednesday morning, a group of volunteers equipped with XTB T-shirts, sandwiches, gloves and bags went into action and together collected over a ton of waste. Among the abandoned items, bottles, cans, used barbecue sets dominated, but broken buckets, tires and shoes were also found. The success of the action was also supported by the weather, which allowed the participants to rest after hard work and enjoy the charms of nature in the rays of the May sun.
At XTB, we promote the idea of employee volunteering and are eager to engage in similar initiatives. In addition to their positive impact on the natural environment, they also have an integrative value. Usually, several dozen of our employees participate in them, and this is how we spend valuable time together, get to know each other better and talk about topics not only related to work.

There is no better integration than going out the office and doing something good together! During several hours of action, our XTB team collected 102 bags of garbage from the picturesque coast of the Narew River. Cleaning up over a ton of waste gives us incredible satisfaction and motivates us to continue our work.

The campaign was accompanied by an educational lecture in the spirit of “zero-waste”, on the possibilities of reusing waste to give it a new life and a presentation of works of art created from found rubbish and treasures of nature.
