XTB in the “Pocztówki z powodzi” campaign

In 2024, southwestern Poland was hit by a catastrophic flood. Hundreds of farms were flooded, causing huge material losses exceeding PLN 5 billion. The XTB Foundation also joined the nationwide social campaign "Postcards from the flood" activating tourism in these areas, co-creating a mentoring and grant program for entrepreneurs in the affected areas.

As part of the campaign initiated by the AWX marketing agency 600 000 postcards - invitations were sent to Polish residents to encourage them to rest in the south-western regions of the country, which were hit by a huge flood tragedy in 2024. The campaign also shows how you can effectively combine the forces of business, local governments, marketing and ESG from the very beginning - the title postcards were printed in a printing house directly affected by the flood.

The postcard campaign is accompanied by a mentoring and grant program “Biznes Restart”, which aims to provide local entrepreneurs with financial, educational, logistical and legal support. The XTB Foundation has joined this program, offering grants for implementing innovations in areas related to ecology, care for the natural environment and sustainable development. This is our contribution to supporting local Polish business, which we understand very well as a domestic Polish brand.

Each of us can also help individually by sharing information about the campaign with others, sharing it on our social media or spending a vacation or weekend in picturesque areas that need tourist support.
