“Academy of Tomorrow: Finance with Class 2.0” is the second edition of the project implemented by the XTB Foundation in cooperation with the Foundation for Financial Education for Children and Youth “Trampki na Giełdzie.” The Academy aims to provide accessible and engaging education to young people through capital market practitioners on various topics related to the world of finance.

At the beginning of October 2025, we launched the next edition of the XTB Foundation’s project, “Academy of Tomorrow. Finance with Class.” The success of the previous edition proved that this is the only right direction we can take to support young people in acquiring valuable knowledge directly from experienced experts. In this edition, planned educational activities will reach nearly 5,000 students from i.a. Warsaw, Krakow, Legionowo, Mikołów, Łódź, and Łowicz.

The next stage began with an interview with Sylwia Kozoń, President of the XTB Foundation, from the “Trampki na Giełdzie” Foundation. Sylwia discussed the project, its foundations, and its message, as well as the role of financial institutions in youth education, the synergy between the organization’s strategy and financial education efforts. Finally, we learned which books are worth reading to build your investment awareness. The interview was conducted in Polish.

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the 10th anniversary edition of the Wizz Air Night Praski Half Marathon and the Praska 5K Run took place in the heart of Warsaw’s Praga district. This year’s event gained a unique character thanks to the XTB and the XTB Foundation’s partnership and also the largest corporate group of participants in the race’s history.

Sport brings people together, improves well-being, and supports work-life balance. We saw this during this year’s 10th Wizz Air Night Praski Half Marathon and the Praska 5K Run. The partnership of XTB S.A. and the XTB Foundation in this event is an example of how employees and the local community can be supported by promoting health and physical activity in line with goals of ESG Strategy for 2024-2027 of XTB Group. 

The motto of this year’s edition is RUN YOUR STORY, encouraging people to create their own running story regardless of their running pace or experience. Almost 100 XTB employees decided to take up the challenge and run one of two distances – the 21km half marathon or the 5km run. This is the largest group of participants from one company in the entire ten-year history of this event, thanks to which XTB S.A. set a new record.

I’ve been running for eight years and have had the opportunity to compete in over 100 different events including the PKO Białystok Half Marathon, the PZU Warsaw Half Marathon and the Centennial Supermarathon. This year I decided to participate in the Praska Five because it’s a great opportunity to combine fun with outdoor activity, as well as spend time with colleagues. Under the guidance of a trainer cooperating with XTB each of us had the opportunity to prepare thoroughly and safely through written training plans and group workouts. XTB really put in the effort and I’m very happy with our involvement – I felt supported every step of the way which is incredibly motivating and beneficial for the entire community.

To help participants prepare for the race XTB organized a series of regular training sessions and webinars led by a qualified trainer. The training program was designed to enable employees to achieve optimal physical condition and prepare for the race. This holistic approach reflects XTB’s commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle and physical activity among employees.

Some members of the XTB running team participated in this type of competition for the first time. Throughout both distances runners were accompanied by cheers from fans and warming music and on the final stretch just before the finish line everyone was further encouraged by energetic music played by a DJ in our fan zone.

We sincerely congratulate all our employees for participating in the race and thank them for joining us. Once again, we have proven that sports and investment have a lot in common: above all, passionate people, proper preparation, determination to achieve their goals, fair play and fighting to the very end.

At XTB, we are introducing new standards of security and responsibility in the financial sector. Following the implementation of advanced cybersecurity solutions and the announcement of further technological and educational initiatives, we have decided to provide special protection to investors who have fallen victim to cybercriminals.

The XTB Group’s sustainability is driven by all actions and decisions taken over the years, as well as by our transparent communication. Our parallel development in the areas of society, environment and corporate governance supports the implementation of our ESG Strategy, but also enables us to respond thoughtfully and responsibly to identified needs, opportunities and threats. The safety of our clients is the foundation of trust and an absolute priority for our business. Therefore, in the face of growing threats, we have decided to take further strategic steps to strengthen client trust.

In addition to implementing security measures based on new technologies, collaborating with security experts and conducting an educational campaign, we have decided to compensate investors for all funds lost due to cybercriminals. In the coming weeks, XTB will be contacting clients directly who have filed complaints regarding the loss of funds due to cybercriminals to ensure they receive their full funds back as quickly as possible.

Our strategy is to offer the best investment app for both passive and active investment management. We want our clients to have the confidence that they can safely invest with the XTB app in mind, with long-term goals or an additional retirement fund in mind. Building relationships based on trust is paramount to us, which is why we’ve decided to compensate all our clients who fell victim to cybercriminals. We see this as a valuable lesson for us, individual investors, and the community at large. We believe that the topic of cybersecurity will not only appear in the news as sensational news, but will instead evolve into a long-term educational campaign.

According to XTB data, cybercriminal attacks affected only 0.017% of customers, and none of the affected customers had two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, which provides effective protection against unauthorized account access. XTB has been offering 2FA since 2024. Initially, authentication via SMS was offered, and in July 2025, a second method was added – TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password). This allows users to generate one-time codes in apps like Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, and Apple Passwords.

To raise awareness of cybersecurity, we are also co-creating the second edition of the Scamming Out campaign with Puls Biznesu and Bankier.pl, educating people on how to recognize financial fraud, how to protect their data, and how to avoid being scammed.

We recognize that the financial industry must be distinguished by the highest standards of security and trust. After all, institutions like XTB are where clients’ money works. Cybersecurity is our priority, and this isn’t just lip service – in 2024, the budget of the Security Department at XTB increased by 48% year-on-year, and we assume that these investments will steadily grow in the coming years.

In the coming months, we plan to implement further solutions aimed at increasing the security of client funds. These include the ability to immediately log out of all sessions and block accounts via the mobile app, as well as ongoing analysis of investor behavior on the platform. Furthermore, the Security Department at XTB regularly collaborates with the CSIRT team of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and CERT Polska.

Although July’s weather doesn’t quite match typical summer temperatures, we look back with nostalgia on the XTB Picnic in June, when the weather was perfect. Over 700 XTB employees gathered to kick off the summer season with an outdoor team-building activity.

Sustainability at XTB has many dimensions and permeates every area of our business, also the organizational culture which we constantly strengthen. On Wednesday, June 4th, in Warsaw, we celebrated team bonding by officially opening the summer season. Over 700 people participated in an outdoor picnic, enjoying games and fun together.

Since ist beginning, XTB Germany has been strengthening its commitment to ESG, sending a clear signal about its dedication to responsible conduct within the financial industry. By joining the board of the German Contracts for Difference Association (CFD Association, original name in German language: “CFD-Verband”), the broker not only underscores its market expertise but also responsible business role, especially in the area of Governance.

XTB became a member of the CFD Association in 2024. Now, the company is taking its involvement to the next level: Jens Chrzanowski, Country Manager of XTB Germany, has been elected to the association’s board, contributing his years of industry experience and leadership on behalf of the broker. This move is a tangible expression of XTB’s broader ESG strategy in partnerships, with a focus on transparency, accountability, and sustainable governance practices.

The CFD Association represents the majority of CFD providers in Germany and acts as a central voice for the industry. It advocates for transparency, investor protection and a sustainable regulatory environment. For example, the association played a key role in the political dialogue surrounding loss offsetting restrictions and taxation, successfully highlighting the regulation’s negative impact and contributing to its reversal, an important win for sustainable market fairness.

In addition, the association regularly publishes market data and research on the use of contracts for difference. These publications promote financial literacy and enhance transparency for investors and the media, aligning with goals such as responsible communication and informed decision-making.

The association is also actively engaged in investor protection. It continuously educates the public about the opportunities and risks of CFDs, emphasizing that these products are suitable only for experienced investors. This focus contributes to responsible investing and supports an ESG-compliant product communication strategy.

I see the membership in the CFD Association also as a predicate, as only respected, highly regulated companies can join this group.

In June 2025, XTB employees took part in the Trust Index Survey conducted by Great Place To Work, based solely on their opinions and experiences working at XTB. Based on the results received and the vast majority of positive responses, we have become a certified Great Place To Work® employer!

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the Responsible Business Forum’s Anniversary Conference “Business Transformation – Future Scenarios” was held, during which the publication of the Report “Responsible Business in Poland 2024. Good Practices” was announced. This year, for the first time, the activities carried out by XTB became part of the publication.

The Report of Good Practices in Poland is an annual, unique publication on a national scale, appreciated for years by the business community, social organizations and the media. It is a comprehensive review of the actual activities of companies in the area of ​​ESG and sustainable development. The XTB Group has been developing its good practices in the areas of society, corporate governance and the environment for years, but this year they were included for the first time in the publication of the Responsible Business Forum.

In the fall, the XTB Foundation returns to high schools with an educational program on financial management and investing. In the edition that will start in September, we will meet with almost 5,000 students all over Poland, recruitment for the next one was closed in just over a week.

Already in September, mentors – financial market practitioners will start workshops in high schools and introduce high school students to the secrets of the stock exchange, financial management, investing and building good financial habits. Right after them, Q&A sessions with XTB experts will take place. Thanks to this, young people will have the opportunity to ask any question about financial markets to people who know everything about it.

We will tell participants about the principles of financial management, building good habits, we will calculate compound interest and consider which items in the budget are whims and which are actual needs. We are constantly working to bring young people closer to the world of finance and convince them that everyone can be financially safe.

The program is run by the XTB Foundation in cooperation with the Trampki na Giełdzie Foundation. Its first edition was inaugurated in June 2024 and was met with great enthusiasm and commitment from participants. More about the first edition XTB Foundation cooperates with “Trampki na Giełdzie”

In 2024, southwestern Poland was hit by a catastrophic flood. Hundreds of farms were flooded, causing huge material losses exceeding PLN 5 billion. The XTB Foundation also joined the nationwide social campaign “Postcards from the flood” activating tourism in these areas, co-creating a mentoring and grant program for entrepreneurs in the affected areas.

As part of the campaign initiated by the AWX marketing agency 600 000 postcards – invitations were sent to Polish residents to encourage them to rest in the south-western regions of the country, which were hit by a huge flood tragedy in 2024. The campaign also shows how you can effectively combine the forces of business, local governments, marketing and ESG from the very beginning – the title postcards were printed in a printing house directly affected by the flood.

The postcard campaign is accompanied by a mentoring and grant program “Biznes Restart”, which aims to provide local entrepreneurs with financial, educational, logistical and legal support. The XTB Foundation has joined this program, offering grants for implementing innovations in areas related to ecology, care for the natural environment and sustainable development. This is our contribution to supporting local Polish business, which we understand very well as a domestic Polish brand.

Each of us can also help individually by sharing information about the campaign with others, sharing it on our social media or spending a vacation or weekend in picturesque areas that need tourist support.

The aim of the XTB Foundation is to disseminate economic and financial management knowledge, where XTB experts share their experience. This time was no different, in April the XTB Foundation carried out a joint project with the Avalon Foundation.

We have completed educational workshops conducted by Tomek Bogocz, Team Leader from the XTB Sales Department for the Avalon Foundation beneficiaries. During two meetings in April, we told the participants about saving, managing personal finances, retirement planning and the basics of investing. 

The aim of the Avalon Foundation is to work towards changing the world so that it is more friendly to people with disabilities. The classes that were carried out were met with great interest from the participants. We would like to thank the Avalon Foundation for its openness and all participants for their commitment.
