On Friday, February 21, 2025, at the Trading Floor of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, we concluded the first edition of the "Academy of tomorrow. Finances with class" program. We hosted 150 guests and the winners of a competition in which willing students had a possibility to plan their financial goal and present a plan for conscious financial management for the next 10 years.

The work of Agata Kolanowska from Radom made the greatest impression on the entire competition committee, and she received the Main Prize, an iPhone 16 PRO and a MacBook. The following places from 2 to 5 were taken by:

During the final meeting, students listened to a lecture by Paweł Rygielski, one of the project's mentors, and listened to the inverview of Sylwia Kozoń, President of the XTB Foundation, and moderator Izabela Kozakiewicz, President of the Trampki na Giełdzie Foundation. The fire chat was based on questions about how people from the world of finance manage their private finances, what financial knowledge they pass on to their children, what they think about financial education in schools, what they would not invest their money in, and whether working in a financial company changes the way we think about finances.
The meeting at the WSE was also a great opportunity for direct exchange of opinions and experiences with students and teachers who accompanied them. We are proud that the program was received so enthusiastically, and we hope that the knowledge we imparted to the students will stay with them and have a real impact on how they manage their money.
Work on the second edition is underway, and workshops in schools will begin in October 2025.
102 classes, 2588 high school students, over 260 hours of classroom lessons in schools, and 6 Q&A sessions - this is the shortest summary of the 1st edition of the educational program for high school students created jointly by the XTB Foundation and the "Trampki na Giełdzie" Foundation.
As part of the Q&A sessions conducted by XTB experts, we told young people, among other things, about building a budget, ways to generate surpluses, compound interest, good financial habits and we showed that financial security is achievable by everyone. All it takes is a little knowledge and experience.
According to the program plan, the workshops in schools ended at the beginning of January and after them came the time for Q&A sessions with XTB experts. For 6 hours, Michał Stajniak (Deputy Director in the Analysis Department), Jakub Oklesiński (Team Leader in the Sales Department) and Bogumił Jeżewski (Head of Regulated Markets in the Trading Department) answered students' questions during remote Q&A sessions on all matters related to financial management, good practices in investing, and the most common mistakes. Our hosts received many very interesting questions, e.g. about the best ideas for good use of 300 zlotys of pocket money, their own best and worst investment decisions, as well as about thematic books or YouTube channels that they recommend to those who want to continue expanding their knowledge about finance.

At XTB, 2024 was full of activities and events addressed to employees, but also our stakeholders. Let's take a look at the summary of the year.
2024 was a special year for our team for many different reasons. In the area of sustainability, we can consider this year as a breakthrough, not only in connection with new reporting standards, but above all, the development of XTB. And so i.a.:
- We have updated our ESG Strategy for 2024-2027, selected the mission and vision of XTB, indicated the directions of development and the first goals to achieve within the adopted strategic horizon!
- We carried out a double materiality assessment (DMA), in which we invited our stakeholders to participate as part of the dialogue. Thanks to this, we identified topics that were important to us - impacts, risks and opportunities (IRO).
- We started counting greenhouse gas emissions in three ranges for the first time!
- We implemented valuable documents supporting our team and business growth: Anti-Corruption Policy, Anti-Mobbing and Anti-Discrimination Policy and Diversity and Equal Treatment Policy (DEI Policy).
- We have developed the first Climate Policy of the XTB Group, which is an expression of our commitment, willingness to support awareness building and one of the first steps on our way to conscious management of climate and environmental issues.
- We have become a member of the Responsible Business Forum to jointly create a space for exchanging experiences and building awareness in our team.
In 2024, our Events Department operated dynamically and, in cooperation with the XTB Foundation, implemented initiatives that we look back on with pride today! Let's summarize them together:
- XTB HQ employees had the opportunity to take part in January and February sports activities, which resulted in the creation of the XTB Basketball Team, which continuously organizes weekly training sessions.
- We organized Spring Cleaning of the Kabacki Forest in Warsaw, during which we collected over 50 bags of garbage.
- We organized volunteer campaigns such as the August collection of school kits for children from orphanages and the September aid for flood victims.
- We have introduced annual Health Day celebrations at XTB. During first edition, over 160 people participated in tests and consultations with physiotherapists and dieticians.
- We organized the 1st XTB Speed Chess Tournament, in which over 30 players took part.
- XTB Foundation initiated a new educational project "Academy of Tomorrow. Finance with class." Since October, 102 classes and 2 588 young people from high schools and technical schools from have participated in our classes!
- We invited the children of our employees from the HQ to celebrate Children's Day together. During the event, over 200 employees with children participated in programming workshops, chess workshops, DIY workshops and creative animations, which took place at the XTB office in Warsaw.
- We care about the safety and development of our employees. Over 30 employees took part in the organized Survival training.
- XTB's 20th anniversary gala, during which (despite one of the hottest evenings of the year) we broke attendance records at our previous corporate events. Over 650 people took part in the Gala.
- We started a series of "Inner Power" workshops, during which a total of over 150 people exchanged their passions and established new interest groups. Interested employees had the opportunity to spend time together during several polymer workshops, crocheting workshops, "Do it yourself" workshops and making Christmas wreaths.
- As part of the Pink October and Movember campaigns, over 160 people took part in ultrasound examinations in our office. Our branches and foreign companies joined the action.
- We organized a webinar on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in cooperation with the Stonewall Group.
- We celebrated the Christmas time together during the Xmas Party, during which we broke the attendance record for Christmas events at XTB. Over 600 people took part in the event!
- We organized meetings with our internal experts in IKE and IKZE, bonds and AML, attended by over 200 people from the entire XTB Group.
We look towards the new year with hope and enthusiasm and will soon start with further activities and activities.
At XTB we know well how important health prevention is. Therefore, we joined the October celebrations of Pink October not only at our headquarters, but also in our offices in Santiago, Dubai and Madrid.
In October, due to the Pink October celebration, we organized workshops for employees at the XTB office in Warsaw, during which we listened to a lecture on the most common causes of cancer, characteristic symptoms, statistics, prognosis, but above all, prevention and how we can effectively support our bodies. During the meeting, the expert invited to XTB explained what a properly performed breast self-examination should look like and the key role its regularity plays.
As a sign of solidarity with people struggling with breast cancer and commitment to building awareness of cancer prevention, our employees in XTB offices in Santiago, Dubai and Madrid dressed in pink and organized information campaigns on regular examinations, prevention and early detection of cancer.
In September 2024 we joined the group of strategic partners of the Responsible Business Forum, because sustainable development and spreading good practices is particularly important to us.
In September 2024, we became a strategic partner of the Responsible Business Forum (FOB). FOB is an organization that brings together companies and industry leaders to improve their ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) competencies and promote the sustainable transformation of their businesses.
Joining Responsible Business Forum aims to strengthen the area of sustainable development in our organization. Cooperation will provide us with, i.a.: support in the process of building awareness in our organization, as well as substantive support in the ESG area and the opportunity to share knowledge with ESG experts from various industries.
Just 4 days ago, the XTB Foundation signed a 3-year cooperation agreement with the Polish Economic Society and today we can already celebrate our first joint success. The Polish team has just returned from Athens, where 5 of our students individually won... as many as 5 gold and silver medals at the International Economics Olympiad! In the team competition, they were unequivocally the best among over 100,000 competitors from around the world.
Our team consisted of:
- Szymon Sobiech from Lublin,
- Patrycja Smentoch from Gdansk,
- Wiktor Kocur from Poznan,
- Szymon Jackowski z Warsaw and
- Jan Baranowski from Lodz.
They achieved the best result in the history of our representatives' starts. All five are laureates of the National Economics Olympiad organized annually by our partner, the Polish Economic Society.
The enormity of the success is also witnessed by the huge interest of national and regional media from all over the country. Our heroes were talked about, among others, in the main news service of TVP1, "Good Morning TVN" or RMF FM.

In 2024 we celebrated 20th anniversary of XTB! Over two decades of dynamic growth, Polish FinTech has become one of the leaders in the investment industry and represent a brand known all over the world. On this occasion, we look back at the key moments in the company's history and its achievements.
We began our operations in 2004 as X-Trade Brokers and a year later, we obtained our first KNF license to provide brokerage services. In 2007, we opened our first international branch in the Czech Republic and our employment grew from 11 to 45 people. In the following years, we opened international branches in Slovakia, Spain, Romania, Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Cyprus and a subsidiary X Open Hub in Poland. In 2013, we created our first proprietary platform xStation3, which was updated to a newer version xStation5 three years later.
In 2017, we opened our first non-European offices in Chile and Belize and four years later, we obtained licenses to operate in Dubai and South Africa. In subsequent years, we opened additional branches in Cyprus, Seychelles and Indonesia. Today, XTB S.A. is one of the largest publicly traded Forex and CFD brokers. In 2024, the number of our clients exceeded 1 million, with growing employment of over a thousand people from around the world.
Keeping in mind all the milestones of our operations, we gathered on Wednesday, September 4th, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of XTB with 600 employees and associates from around the world attending.
On July 23rd this year the XTB Group presented its newly updated ESG Strategy for 2024-2027. As part of the Strategy, XTB's Mission and Vision were updated to integrate sustainable development, and a strategic time horizon was added.
The past few years have been a period of very dynamic growth for the XTB Group. We have strengthened our position as one of the leaders in the investment industry, entered new markets, and undertaken actions towards the sustainable development of XTB. In 2021, we implemented our first ESG Strategy, which helped us organize processes and identify key elements in this area. In 2024, we decided to reinforce our message by integrating ESG with our business to better align with long-term goals and the evolving landscape of environmental, social and governance factors.
Key elements of the updated ESG Strategy:
- Redefined Mission and Vision: We have integrated sustainable development as a key factor complementing our strategic actions in the business area.
- Double Materiality Assessment: Our strategy is based, among others, on the Double Materiality Assessment conducted in 2024, which included surveys and interviews with selected XTB Group stakeholders.
- Clear Goals and Milestones: We have refined our strategic directions, goals, and milestones in the environmental, social, and governance areas.
We believe that the ESG Strategy will help us develop our business in many dimensions, supporting the achievement of our business goals and building value for our stakeholders.

In mid-2024, we updated our internal "Natural Investment" Program and all the XTB Group
subsidiaries were invited to participate in its implementation.
In July 2024, in line with the ESG strategy, we updated the "Natural Investment" program and extended it to all branches and subsidiaries of XTB S.A. Despite the different locations of our offices, we want to send a consistent message and support a responsible and diverse organizational culture through ESG activities and initiatives.
Examples of recent activities at the XTB headquarters:
- we have placed markings near some light switches in kitchens and by printers. These signs are meant to remind us that effective resource management starts with us and our conscious decisions;
- we have placed containers for used batteries in the kitchens. Batteries are a special type of e-waste that contain harmful chemicals, which, if they decompose and leak, pose a threat to the environment, human health and animals.
In June 2024, the XTB Foundation organized a trial lesson before the launch of the "Academy of Tomorrow. Classy Finances" program at the XTB S.A. Headquarters.
In June, we transformed the largest conference room in the Warsaw XTB office into… a classroom, to which we invited the teenage children of our employees. The holidays are just around the corner, but we asked our teenagers to participate in a trial lesson as part of the preparations for the implementation of the “Academy of Tomorrow. Classy Finances” program.
For 4 months, XTB experts together with experts of "Trampki na Giełdzie" Foundation, worked on workshop scenarios and work cards for the educational program intended for young people. The program aims to introduce them to the world of finance, help build good habits and answer their burning questions about investing and conscious financial management.
Nearly 30 of our young guests listened to the lecture and performed exercises prepared by our experts for several hours. In the end, it was the students themselves who proposed the name of the project - "Academy of Tomorrow. Classy Finances" and we got a "green light" from them to present the program to their peers in schools. The first edition of the Academy will start in schools in October of this year and will cover about 100 classes from the Masovian Voivodeship.
Interested schools can apply for the program until the end of September 2024, the first edition starts at the beginning of October.
