At XTB, we know very well that passion and hobbies play a key role in everyone's life, including our employees. They influence the development of our skills and creativity, help build relationships with others, and impact motivation, efficiency and job satisfaction. This is why we have created a space for exchanging experiences at XTB as part of the "Inner Power" workshop series.
At the beginning of the year, we launched a new series of workshops at XTB called "Inner Power," where we would share our internal knowledge and skills in various fields! The idea of the workshops is to create a space for meeting and integration, sharing passions and developing various competencies.
Interests and passions allow us to achieve satisfaction, drive us in life, and provide a sense of fulfillment. I believe that discovering and developing our interests not only enriches our personal lives but also translates into greater job satisfaction and efficiency. The "Inner Power" workshops aim to help participants discover their inner strength, develop passions and integrate them with their professional lives, so that every day is full of inspiration and motivation.

The "Inner Power" project was opened by a workshop led by Małgorzata Klimkiewicz, a designer at XTB, who conducted polymer gypsum workshops as part of the Arts&Crafts series. We warmly invite all employees to share their passions and hobbies.
In January 2024, the 10th edition of the "Employee satisfaction survey" was conducted among all employees of the XTB Group. The survey was attended by 54% of employees at XTB worldwide.
As every year, in January 2024, the HR team of XTB S.A. conducted an anonymous "Employee satisfaction survey", inviting all employees of the XTB Group worldwide to participate. The total number of responses was 556. Compared to the previous year, the number of respondents increased by 45.5%. Most responses came from the headquarters, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Spain, France and Portugal. The areas surveyed included learning and development, motivation, communication, workplace, performance, management and relationships.
The survey results indicated that collaboration, relationships and performance are the highest-rated areas at XTB and teamwork was identified as one of our strongest points for the ninth time. In the area of communication, 93% of employees have very good relationships with team members. 85% of respondents agreed that they received the resources needed to perform their job duties effectively and 80% stated that they have the opportunity to implement their own ideas. Nearly 87% of employees said they would recommend XTB to family and friends as a great place to work. Training development was identified as an area for improvement.
We thank our employees for participating in the survey. We remain committed to being an even better employer and building a friendly and modern workplace.
As every year we participated in the "Noble Gift" (Szlachetna Paczka) campaign to support chosen family fulfilling theirs needs. The readiness and commitment of our employees once again proved that together we can make a real impact on improving lives of people facing difficulties.
Another "Weekend of miracles" is behind us. The family we decided to help this year received 31 packages and a refrigerator from XTB. Thanks to our employees, we were able to meet all the needs specified by the family and additional products were purchased with the collected funds.
Employees had the opportunity to support the campaign through individual donations, purchasing products themselves or contributing to a donation box. The immense happiness and emotion of the recipients were beautiful confirmations that once again as a team we did something valuable.
In October 2023, our employees - volunteers met with representatives of the Forever Forest Foundation to plant trees and create the "Forever Forest of XTB."
"Forever Forest of XTB" ("Las na Zawsze XTB") was planted in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, in Mieleszkowce Pawłowickie about 60 km northeast of Białystok and about 250 km from Warsaw.
A group of over 40 of our employees - volunteers, led by specialists from the Forever Forest Foundation, planted 2,300 trees on an area of approximately 1,200 m². The work was preceded by a lecture on the role of forests in our lives and a brief training on methods of planting young trees.
This was a valuable experience both, educationally and as a part of a team building. This initiative showed us as well that commitment and collective action bring may bring the greatest changes for the environment.
Facing challenges related to climate change and environmental degradation, the need to implement eco-friendly solutions in offices is becoming increasingly urgent. Green offices are not just a trend but a necessity that benefits both the planet and employees. Therefore, we have developed eco-friendly office practices and taken concrete steps to make the workplace more environmentally friendly.
At the beginning of 2022, we introduced to our employees a series of solutions that benefit both the environment and employees at the XTB headquarters in Warsaw:
- Waste segregation - waste segregation bins with instructions were placed in the kitchens of the XTB headquarters.
- Collection of plastic caps - containers for plastic caps were placed in the kitchens, along with information about the campaign being supported.
- Food sharing - a designated shelf in each refrigerator for food exchange between employees.
- Elimination of plastic accessories in favor of biodegradable and compostable dishes.
- We moved the XTB S.A. headquarters to the Skyliner building, which was built in a sustainable construction standards.
The eco-friendly solutions we will implement in the office have been gathered in an internal environmental education program for XTB employees called "Natural Investment."
We proudly present XTB's first ESG report for 2021, marking a milestone in the company's pursuit of sustainable development and social responsibility.
At the beginning of March 2022, we published our first Non-financial report for 2021, prepared in accordance with the SIN standard. This report details our actions and achievements in the areas of environmental, social and corporate governance, highlighting the company's commitment to creating a positive impact on its surroundings.
In January 2022, we decided to change the location of XTB's headquarters. The new headquarters is located in the modern Skyliner building in Warsaw and has a BREEAM Excellent Certificate.
Since January 2022, the XTB S.A. headquarters has been located in the Skyliner office building in Warsaw, which was built to sustainable construction standards and:
- has a BREEAM Excellent Certificate;
- uses energy from renewable sources and has obtained an innogy Polska certificate from the E.ON Group confirming the purchase of guarantees of origin for electricity from renewable energy installations;
- its facade has above-average thermal and acoustic insulation coefficients, which means it does not overheat in summer and does not cool down in winter. The ecological reflectivity helps birds avoid collisions with the building;
- has divided elevators into three zones, optimizing waiting time and energy consumption; during elevator braking, additional energy recovery is achieved;
- its air conditioning system is based on cooling towers with an added water treatment installation (the most economical and ecological solution adapted to Polish weather conditions);
- has 100% energy-efficient LED lighting. Motion sensor lighting is used in common areas;
- uses motion sensors for responsible water management in restrooms;
- has modern systems that enable detailed monitoring of media consumption.
We believe that thanks to modern technologies and equipment, the new headquarters will allow us to better integrate ESG criteria into our operations, making our office environmentally sustainable.
In 2021, the we took a significant step towards sustainable development by implementing our first ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) strategy. This initiative aims not only to minimize the XTB's impact on the environment but also to promote social responsibility and improve corporate governance.
To prepare the first ESG Strategy, operational processes at XTB were reviewed and areas where XTB can contribute to achieving E, S, and G goals were identified. As part of our ESG strategy, we set the direction in which we want to develop and took specific actions to benefit our stakeholders, the environment, XTB and its employees.
We took another step towards promoting equality and inclusivity at XTB by signing the Diversity Charter. This commitment underscores our efforts to create an open and tolerant work environment where every employee, regardless of gender, age, origin or beliefs, can feel respected and valued.
On October 20, 2021, as a confirmation of our willingness to strive to strengthen diversity in XTB, we signed the Diversity Charter coordinated by the Responsible Business Forum, thereby committing to actively counteract discrimination, implement an equal treatment policy and manage diversity in the workplace.
The diversity of our team is one of the key elements of our success. We want to support the diversity of our employees and create diverse project teams.
XTB introduced a new initiative called "Natural Investment", aimed at promoting sustainable
development and ecological responsibility among XTB employees.
In 2021, XTB developed and implemented the internal ecological program "Natural Investment," which aims to educate employees about environmental protection, support pro-ecological actions and implement sustainable practices into the company's daily operations. We are starting the implementation of initiatives that are to support our strategic needs in this area.
