Environment

Our business operations are primarily based on office activities, digital processes, and our IT infrastructure. However, we are fully aware of our environmental impact, and since 2024 we have been calculating and reporting our full carbon footprint.

We are committed to sustainability

Good health and quality of life

Good health and quality of life

We are developing well-being initiatives for our employees, focusing on promoting health and physical activity. We have introduced recurring Health Day events, first aid training and educational activities related to preventive healthcare. In 2025, we conducted cancer prevention screenings for the second time, with 299 screening tests carried out at the XTB HQ as part of the initiative. Employees also had the opportunity to receive flu vaccinations organized at the HQ office. On an ongoing basis, we further support physical activity within our team by organizing group runs, as well as yoga, badminton and basketball sessions.

Quality education

We support the development of education in finance and technology through initiatives aimed at various target groups. We provide an extensive online knowledge base and regular market analyses that support investor education and the development of financial competencies. We organize the annual XTB Investing Masterclass conference, which aims to expand knowledge about financial markets. Through the XTB Foundation, we carry out educational initiatives targeted at school youth, including the “Akademia Jutra. Finanse z klasą” (“Academy of Tomorrow. Finance with Class”) program. In April 2026, the XTB Foundation is organizing an in-person conference, “Money Talks. Investment Beginner’s Day,” under the patronage of SII and PTE, aimed at introducing participants to the world of finance. In 2025, we launched the XTB Tech Academy – a program combining elements of technology education with the opportunity to complete an internship within the organization.

We recognize that the industry in which the XTB Group operates is characterized by gender imbalance in employment. However, our job offers are addressed to all individuals interested in working at XTB, regardless of gender and hiring decisions are based on competencies and experience. The share of women in employment within the XTB Group has not changed significantly year over year, but in 2024 we increased the representation of the underrepresented gender on the Supervisory Board of XTB S.A. (33% women). Since 2024, we have organized annual training in the area of DEI and in 2024 we introduced the Diversity Policy. We are also a signatory to the Diversity Charter. In 2025, a dedicated organizational unit was established to analyze employee remuneration, including from a gender perspective.

Economic growth and decent work

At XTB, we take steps to build a work environment based on mutual respect. According to the results of the Employee Satisfaction Survey conducted at the beginning of 2025, 85% of respondents declared their willingness to recommend XTB as a place to work. In 2025, XTB was awarded the Great Place to Work certification for XTB S.A. and its German branch. In 2026 we got the same certification on UAE market.

As a FinTech company, we develop technologies and investment solutions used by clients across multiple markets. We expand and diversify our product portfolio to address a wide range of user needs and evolving market conditions. We invest in the technological development of our investment platform, supporting its scalability, security and operational stability.

Since 2024, XTB has been calculating the full carbon footprint of the Group in accordance with the GHG Protocol methodology and has implemented the XTB Climate Policy. In 2024, we analyzed climate-related risks associated with the locations of our offices, identifying areas potentially exposed to extreme weather events.

Life on land

As part of volunteer activities, XTB employees engaged in environmental initiatives related to the protection of nature and ecosystems. In 2023, they participated in a tree-planting campaign involving more than 2,000 saplings. In subsequent years, activities included, i.a., clean-up efforts in green and aquatic areas, including the Kabaty Forest in Warsaw (2024), the banks of the Narew River (2025), as well as a beach in Cyprus and areas affected by wildfires. These activities were voluntary in nature and carried out in cooperation with external partners. At this stage, no quantitative assessment of the environmental impact of these initiatives has been conducted.

We cooperate with industry organizations and external partners in order to achieve our strategic objectives and carry out the activities of the XTB Foundation. The company is a member of the Chamber of Brokerage Houses and, since 2024, of the Responsible Business Forum, as well as a signatory of the Diversity Charter. The XTB Foundation, established in 2020, implements projects in cooperation with external partners, including the “Trampki na Giełdzie” Foundation, in the areas of financial education, social initiatives and environmental activities. As part of these efforts, initiatives have included the educational program “Akademia Jutra. Finanse z klasą” (“Academy of Tomorrow. Finance with Class”) participation in the “Szlachetna Paczka” (Noble Gift) campaign and volunteer activities with the “Czysta Rzeka” (Clean River) Foundation, involving clean-up actions along the banks of the Narew River.
